Shoot 2 prep went well, but the shoot itself had a rocky start when my photographer cancelled on me. She said she could do the day after which I happened to be on the rota for work for, but thank god my boss let me swap swifts and I got the MUA and models sorted for the day after… STRESS!!

Despite this, the shoot was really fun, I was super nervous as I didn’t know any of these people, however I did meet the photographer a couple days prior to discuss what I wanted from the shoot etc. I was really happy with the models, and the styling! I styled the shoot and creatively directed pretty much the same as the first shoot. This one was even easier because the photographer checked absolutely everything with me from lighting to angles to what poses I wanted etc!

I had planned on this shot with these letters on one of the models shots but the MUA didn’t want to do it. I decided to cut out mag letters at 2am the night before to bring anyway and I’m glad I did because I ended up putting them on myself (I also ended up being the hair stylist) and I loved how it looked!

I also edited all the photos myself again, which included some editing on Lightroom to make them appear a lil grungier, and then some blemish editing and cropping etc on Photoshop!

Overall super happy with this shoot! Took hours to even narrow down the photos (there were over 400) so that’s a good sign I guess.
