Shoot number one complete!! My first shoot went well, besides all of us freezing out butts off, especially the poor model, and both the model and photographer being late. I did the makeup for this shoot and styled it. I really love how these outfits turned out, especially the suit and the green skirt which I DIY’d after finding it at a vintage sale, since punk is so much about bricolage! I also pretty much completely took charge of the shots taken (creative direction) as the photographer seemed a bit shy and didn’t mind me telling her exactly what shots I wanted!
The only thing I will say about the images is that I think the photographer could have played around with the camera settings a little more as a lot of them were very overexposed which was frustrating, but most of them were saved by editing, which I’ve decided to do myself for all the shoots so I can get pics back sooner, and edit them how I want them for the zine. Overall I’m pretty happy with the images!
