I took some photos over the summer while at one of my favourite spots to visit around the North Coast of Ireland. It’s (obviously) stunning, and therefore I find it super easy to draw inspiration from around me. That’s pretty much one of my favourite parts of living in this area, it’s an endless supply of inspiration from nature. I used to love using photography as a form of research during my years in college so hopefully it can be put to use again now.

I love the calm rolling of the waves and the sense of tranquility I feel while walking beside them. I love the beautiful wash of hazy colours along the horizon that set the colours of the greenery alight. I even love the rustic wear and tear of this old beach hut. I don’t know if I’ll draw colour inspiration from the scenic landscape of N.I. further down the line, but if nothing else, it’s always nice to be reminded that with all the horrors the country has experienced, one thing hasn’t changed.. it’s natural beauty. Perhaps Northern Ireland isn’t so bad after all, eh?
